Austin was very short but sweet. Tyler and I didn’t get to have a full day to explore because we had to work the Lips concert that night and leave for Springfield, MO the next day. So it was more of a half day of exploring and the rest no play. After the San Antonio show everyone pretty much crashed on the bus. I woke up in my bunk in Austin. Since I figured out that Tyler and I had two different sleep schedules, I took the initiative to see what Austin had to offer early that morning. After I grabbed some breakfast, everyone was telling me to hit 6th St. I was told it was more eventful at night, but I wanted to see it anyway.

On my last stop to the bus, Tyler was up and joined me for the brigade. 6th St was rather plain in looking, seen that it was all closed bars and it was early afternoon. But it was still our only opportunity at the time to see a little bit. The Austin bums are awesome. They are in a world of there own. Other streets like 2nd street were actually pretty cute non Texas looking type streets (whatever that means, right) After a short trip of walks around the blocks we headed back to the bus for another nap before work.

The show was amazing that night. Better then before even though it was a much smaller venue. Our client was attending this show, so it was super important and surprisingly serious. But we pulled it off with a great victory and was one of the most visually stimulating show throughout my whole experience.
