Following breakfast, we started out for Venezia in the MB. Giavanni (our GPS) led us well until we reached a new highway that he did not recognize. After a brief diversion, we again got on track and reached Venice by 1:30 and turned in the car. I didn’t know quite what to expect but thought that it may be easier to leave Venice than the other cities. I was wrong. Each city in Italy has it’s own charm and draws you in and transforms you. The Murano glass that they are famous for is abundant and much more less expensive than in the US. I may have to make a purchase or two tomorrow. After a great dinner of the local seafood, we found a great shoe shop where Ken made a little purchase. Tomorrow, we head out to explore…
