Taupo was one of those identicate NZ towns with the same old shops in and stuff. I’d like to say the fact it was next to a whopping great lake set it apart from other towns I’d been to, but they all seem to have their own affilitated natural wonder. It was more of a centre for throwing yourself out of aeroplanes and off bridges (no frickin chance) and down rapids. We all went out for Sharon-with-an-e’s birthday here though and I like to think I showed the settlers a thing or two about robotics.
