ENGLISH VERSION – CYMRAEG ISOD It was warm in Fiji, but upon arriving in New Zealand we discovered that things were going to be slightly colder for our next leg of the trip! “The whole town smells of rotting eggs” “…roedden ni ar ein ffordd i lawr y mynydd cyn i ni sylweddoli ein bod ni wedi bod Read More »

One of my very favourite places in Costa Rica is Tortuguero National Park, a maze of canals and jungle on the Caribbean Sea Coast. Dubbed by some as ‘the Amazon of Costa Rica’, the only means of transport in the park is by boat along the canals or by very small plane. To get to Read More »
2/11 Tatopani Read More »
Namaste! 這次旅程總共十四天,行程大概如下: Lukla – Phading – Namche – Sasana – Tengboche – Dingboche – Nagartsang Peak – Dingboche – Lobuche – Gorak Shep – EBC – Gorak Shep – Kala Patthar – Gorak Shep – Lobuche – Tengboche – Namche – Thamo/Thame – Namche – Lukla Read More »

Another early start. We departed Kangding at 6.30 am, heading for Hailuogou Glacier Park via Luding. Luding Bridge At Hailuogou “the land is trembling and the valley is buzzing”. Mao’s secret hideout revealed in Moxi! Luding lays claim to hosting what some regard as the most glorious moment of the Long March. The bridge, built Read More »
So, deterred from snowboarding slightly by the lack of snow and pricey lift passes (they’re getting a little cheaper as the Kiwi dollar slides but still, more expensive than Whistler for a resort with 2 lifts? what?) we decided to set about seeing some of the sights the south island of NZ had to offer.
