We all decided it was safest to get to the airport the afternoon before Tony’s 1:30pm flight, just in case there was some difficulty getting the bikes to the station. We started the day on the Craigs and headed our way to the bike shop that had disassembled and boxed our bikes and the majority Read More »

One of my very favourite places in Costa Rica is Tortuguero National Park, a maze of canals and jungle on the Caribbean Sea Coast. Dubbed by some as ‘the Amazon of Costa Rica’, the only means of transport in the park is by boat along the canals or by very small plane. To get to Read More »

Spending the night in the Blues bar showed the next morning when Chris pulled out into a four line highway heading into the oncoming traffic. Sensibly, I did not follow him, only to turn around and find that Bert had followed Chris and not me. Men drivers!! Driving through Missouri today, lots of corn and Read More »

We loved Koh Phi Phi, it was 9 days of bliss on a very quiet beach, in a single ‘resort’ (beach shacks) with the nicest resort owner we have met thus far. Pon became our host, friend, doctor (when Chris stuck his foot on a sea urchin) and chef (delivering many yummy meals to our Read More »
Pokhara – where the lake meets the alps! Read More »
Namaste! 這次旅程總共十四天,行程大概如下: Lukla – Phading – Namche – Sasana – Tengboche – Dingboche – Nagartsang Peak – Dingboche – Lobuche – Gorak Shep – EBC – Gorak Shep – Kala Patthar – Gorak Shep – Lobuche – Tengboche – Namche – Thamo/Thame – Namche – Lukla Read More »
