Apparently we caught Rotorua on a good day - good in the sense the whole town didn’t stink of rotten eggs. We didn’t really stick around for long, just a night, but I got up nice and early to have a look at the park across the road from the hostel which was dotted with holes in the ground belching steam and boiling mud. I thought it was ace of course.
