Roma!! Day two…

Today, we continued our adventure in Rome. We stood on Holy ground today.Early this morning, we traveled into the Vatican City. We were moved…life changing experience… I saw the Sistine Chapel…fulfilled dream. What we didn’t expect…the grandeur of St. Peter’s Basilica. It was amazing! Took our breath away upon entering… The Pieta brought tears… Pictures will not do it justice, but it is as close as we can come to explaining the magnificence. After, we had pizza, pasta, and wine. Then, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and Trevi Fountain. Of course…we tossed a coin into the fountain…ensuring our return. Night night…tomorrow, we bid farewell to Rome and continue our journey.
