We arrived in Geneva after one of the hardest journeys yet. It was a 12 hour bus trip starting 12.30 midnight and ending at 2.30pm the next day. The bus arrived an hour late and arrived in Geneva two hours late. While passing through France there was two border securites one of which resulted in everyone taken off the bus all luggage taken out and a sniffer dog. This process lasted for a good half an hour. The final bord of security resulted in one of our fellow bus passangers being removed from the bus and never returning (we are still un aware of what happened). So as you can imagine we were very exhusted once we arrived in this city.

Geneva, However (dispite all odds) did boost our spirits. Geneva was a very good introductory to the very beautiful Switzerland. While in Geneva we visited the Geneva Convention Center and saw all the different nations flag blowing in the wind leading uop to it’s entrance. We also visted the Red Cross Museum. It talked about the introdution of the red cross foundation and how the Geneva convention began (very moving museum). The center was also holding an extra exhibition discussing the still very powerful and negitive uses of walls or barriers separting countries from one another.

Finally we finished our day in Geneva by wondering the old town and visting the real life chess area in the cities center (not as exciting as it sounds, still pretty fun to see though). To Meagans delight and Davids horror we were lucky enough to be in Geneva for there weekly Flea market. We had a great time despite the horrible bus trip to the city
