Erasmus Student in Barca..theres no better place!!

My time in Barcelona is nearly over but it is by far my favourite city ever! I have been here as part of my erasmus placement and im so pleased I chose Barcelona to spend it. I worked for 5 months in an internship but finished at 4pm everyday and had so much time to enjoy the city.
I came in the summer..summer in barcelona is amazing, its so hot, there are festivals and fiestas all the time..and of course the BEACH! I loved everything about barcelona, the food, the drink, the parties, the culture, the people and the weather. Everywhere you go there is a bar, somewhere to eat, tapas restaurants everywhere. Before barcelona i was never really a cultural person, I was never really interested in sightseeing and art and culture but you cant escape it in barcelona and you wouldnt want to!! There are Gaudi buildings all over the city which are just unbelievable, my flat in gracia looked over the Sagrada Familia!
There is nothing I could complain about in Barcelona, its such a a beautiful city..the only thing is that being a student, it was quite expensive, i had to budget with food and going out sometimes but it didnt stop me having a great time. While i was in spain i bought the connect club card actually which saved me money, it gives you discounts in bars and clubs, museums etc, i used it all the time whcich was great, and only 12€ for the year..(www.connectclub.com).
Living in Barcelona was one of the best times of my life and is an amazing place to go and visit..you will never be bored, there is always something to do! Also a highlight and a must when you visit is going to watch Barcelona FC play at the Camp Nou..most incredible atmospehere!
