More beautiful than words can describe

After leaving Mesa Verde we traveled into the Grand Canyon in Arizona. No pictures a person can take do this natural wonder justice. If you are intending to go to the Canyon make sure you get the proper directions as we were given a route into the South Rim and were supposed to stay at the cabins on the North Rim. We had traveled so far we could not make it to the North Rim and wound up in a Motel 88 which was very disappointing as the North Rim when the sun rises is supposed to be spectacular. We did take the tram up the South Rim and each view was more breathtaking than the last. If you want to take the donkey ride down to the floor of the Canyon make your reservations 6 months to a year ahead as they were sold out when we arrived!
We left the Grand Canyon and headed north to Las Vegas. We spent a couple of days of rest in Vegas swimming in the pool and seeing a couple of shows before heading on to Bryce and Zion National Parks.
